If you have dirt and debris that is stuck on, use a small q-tip to clean the areas.
The Vents in Your Car
Dust blowing in your face is never a good part of a weekend road trip, so bust the dust with a small foam paintbrush. Use the brush to wipe the area around the vent and clean the area. If that doesn’t do the trick, grab a dusting cloth and use a pen or pencil to guide it through the vent areas and clean as you go.

Use a dull butter knife and place a microfiber cloth or a dusting cloth around the tip. Use a vacuum to get rid of any big pieces of dust or dust bunnies. Next, use the wrapped butter knife to dust in between each set of vents. This will keep them nice and clean and stop blowing dust around whenever you turn on the heating or air conditioning.
